Just bought a set of pocket wizard plus II, and I am unable to find out anything on cord attachment to use them as a remote control. Not able to find any info from pocket wizard or canon. Any help or ideas? Thanks

7d gripped, canon 10-22. canon 50 1.4, canon 135L, Mamiya equipment.

This (external link) will keep the camera awake and ready to go (not for the Digital Rebel family). This one (external link) doesn't have the "always-on" capability. There are comparable ones for the Rebel models.

I know that I will need to change the settings on the xt,To keep it from turning it self off, but will the CM-N3 work?

No. There are a different set for the XT. Go to B&H, for instance, and look at the ones for the Rebel and Elan models. PocketWizard has the cables all categorized on their site here (external link).
