Thought I would go ahead and post up instead of lurking in the shadows for awhile. I dont have my canon yet its on order. Im getting a 400D and I cant wait. For the mean time here are some pics Ive shot with my P&S Fuji F470. I would love some C&C on composition and whatever you can critque.

I like the 2nd and 4th shots in this series, although I think the dollar bill shot is a little flat. The composition is good, but I think it could stand some levels adjustment. Keep posting! This forum moves fast and a lot of the time things slide by without folks seeing them.

I like the rock shot, very neat.. Fuji makes some great P&S, it's what I originally started on before switching to Canon..

I have been able to get some good shots with my fuji. I got my XTi this weekend and I can already see its potential I just need to figure out how to unleash it.

Here is the the original of that one. I think that the selective coloring makes the butterfly pop a little more. I had a lot of trouble actually trying to get that picture the dang thing wouldnt stay still

Here is my first posts with my XTi. I work 3rd shift so they are night shots from when I was on break.

1. Trying to get a picture of the small town where I work and accidentaly got a light streak pic. Who knew a car would come down the road at 4:00 am.

And one more sitting in my car. I think this would have been a little more crisp but its handheld and sitting on the steering wheel which had some vibration from the motor running.
