European Robin singing (errm...)

Although it appears that he's singing, he has in fact just swallowed a piece of food that I placed nearby. The overall effect is the same though and I was happy with this pose even with the troublesome shadows on its legs.

I like it.

It actually looks more like a defensive posture than a singing pose - I can imagine another robin, just off camera, giving him a hard time!

I would normally prefer to give the bird more room on the left but in this case that rule does not seem to apply..possibly because of the pose and the angle of the perch. I thought for sure the Robin was singing and I like this image for the pose, the lichen covered perch, the BG and the complimentary colors. Very very nice!

I see you are getting some sun over there...:D :cool:
