I was getting a bit bored with my typical 70-200 dog action shots, but my new super cheap, fully manual 8mm fisheye really gave me a new challenge. To me it was a completely new approach to dog photography, going ultra-wide.

It gives a different and fun perspective doesn't it? I've been using my 11-16 lately which is refreshing after doing the same thing for awhile.

Fantastic and refreshing. Well done! I'm assuming you had the aperture stopped wayyyy down to try to mitigate OOF problems?

Thanks, mate! It was stopped down to f/11 so I could set the focus to aproximately 50cm on the distance scale. As long as the light is good it works quite well. I was just surprised that I had to change the exposure time by about 1/2 to 2/3 of a stop, otherwise there would have been noticeable motion blur...

I believe it's even available on Amazon, it's the Samyang/Rokinon/Walime​x/whatever 8mm.
