Essentially it takes an overexposed image, a normal exposed image, and an underexposed image, and blends the three of them to make a single image that has a higher dynamic range than the camera does. It took a couple of hours of shooting and many different angles to come up with one half way decent shot. I shot this in JPEG, and yes, you can HDR in JPEG. As far as the crooked part, that bothers me too, but I'm not so bothered by it that I would correct it. I hope that makes sense! I have some gear
