HDR Train Bridge

Took this last weekend. My partner in crime is the person pictured.

Interesting..... reminds me of a combination watercolor pencil sketch sort of. It's pleasant.

Did you use any artistic effects or actions on it?

This is a High Dynamic Range image created using Photomatix software. Essentially it takes an overexposed image, a normal exposed image, and an underexposed image, and blends the three of them to make a single image that has a higher dynamic range than the camera does. I take it the software is a demo version with the photomatrix all over it.

Have you tried the Photoshop HDR support, kind of hard to get a natural effect but it works.

you've got a neat idea with this shot... colors don't exactly POP like they do on some of the other HDR's i've seen, but i haven't ever tried it, so i wouldn't know what to tell ya...

very interesting and well composed... were you shooting in RAW? I am not even sure if you can HDR with JPEG?

I really like it, although the fact that it's not level bugs me.. try correcting it in photoshop?

Good job on this one. I have done a few HRD's and find that you really have to have the right subject to end up with good results.

It took a couple of hours of shooting and many different angles to come up with one half way decent shot. I shot this in JPEG, and yes, you can HDR in JPEG. As far as the crooked part, that bothers me too, but I'm not so bothered by it that I would correct it. I hope that makes sense!

I'm a huge fan of HDR and own Photomatix standalone. This one seems just a bit out of whack, alingnment, focus, something, which makes it seem not as sharp as one would expect, imo.
