I mostly shoot landscape and macro images in the field, I currently have Gitzo's tripods and Gitzo's heads, 1276m, I am thinking about moving to a really right stuff ball head, Does anyone have any comments on what I should look for, is this a great head for what I shoot???

Thanks

EIther the BH55 or the BH40 are terrific ballheads - maybe the best out there.

The BH40 fits on the series two tripods like it was made for them (basically, it was). The same is true for the BH55 on the Series 3 and larger.
