I treated myself to a new toy a few months ago, and took it on a little photoshoot. These were taken with my old camera, forgive me please, but I have just purchased a 350d so will retake the shots again (once the decent weather comes back) to see what the difference is!

First shot looks soft; I like the second one much better but the buildings on the left are a little distracting.

Watch your framing in shots like #3, and try to make sure the camera is level.

Congrats on the car, enjoy it =]
The shots aren't all that bad, but I'd rather see some nicer shots when you get the 350D :D

LUCKY! I wish I had an STI. Nice shots, I like the second one the best, the first one looks like it could be cropped tighter.

I like the 2nd pic. The car is too far in the first and not sharp enough. Oh and you should've gotten an Evo. :D

+1 on the STi. The pignose has certainly grown on me.

Images seem a hair "flat" color wise, but I do really like the framing of the close up for the reason that it is a bit off of the horizontal plane. It makes the shot interesting to my eye rather than just another straight, perfectly-aligned and plain shot of a car. I really like the juxtaposition of angular surfaces of the background and the curves of the car with the cobblestone below.

Looks like we have some Subie love around here. Good to see :D
