Epson P3000 battery

Dear All,

I have been a happy owner of a P-2000 for a while but the feedback on the P-3000 suggests that it is much faster and the screen is outstanding. i have a spare battery for my P2000, can this be used in a P3000. The epson website doesn't cover this point.

I have just ordered the Epson P3000 (plus spare battery). Before I decided on the Epson P3000 I had a thorough look at one at a local camera shop. While looking at it the battery went flat so the sales assistant grabbed an ex-stock Epson P2000, took the battery out of it, inserted it in the P3000 and it worked perfectly. So, in answer to your question, the P2000 battery is the same as the P3000 battery.

Note that the P4500 (old model) is the 80GB version of the P2000 (old model) ie. it has the same relation as the P5000 (new model) to the P3000 (new model).
