Was heading home on this lovely cloudy afternoon in Mobile, Al and decided to stop by the docks.


I noticed the Hawaii Superferry was docked outside of Austal USA awaiting it's journey over to Hawaii. See http://www.hawaiisuper​ferry.com (external link) for more details on the ferry. Hopefully she'll still be there later this week when its actually sunny out.

Also managed to capture a tug boat heading out to go work.

And atlast, a shot of the cranes loading and unloading.. Was almost like the sky started to clear up for a few minutes.. :)

nice shots *sigh* not looking forward to that superferry, thigns gonna run down whales and the company says they'll slow down 5 knots during whale season, doesn;t matter if i whale gets hit at 25knots or 3o knits, it gets hit it's still gonna die, really saddens me...

It will be interesting for sure. I first noticed this ferry when I was on my way to work about 4 months ago when it was still within the building.
