If your taking a crop off the left, very little is needed as it's almost on a third anyway ;)

Ah! Dimitri's tree! You've really done it justice, Mark. :)

As for a crop, I agree with Alex - just shave a bit off the left until the tree is a third of the way across.

As Ruaridh suggested I've posted a link to this thread in the 5th Scottish POTN meet thread so we can keep track of all the images. I think I will have one of this tree to add here - (after a bit of PP ;) ).

Nice shot Mark. It didn't take you long to get home from the Pyrenees National Park in Spain. Lovely clear blue skies down there in January.

... and you are claiming that blue sky is from Scotland ... hahahahahaha.:p

Madness... who else could spoil the view.

Great shot Mark, you have managed to keep detail in the sky (I hate cloudless skies) and the low angle works to show off the tree.

Nicely taken Mark. John and I spotted the tree on sunday on the way home, but after saturday's weather, we gave it a miss until the next time.

Cracking shot and the crop works well. I was considering another shot of this tree on the way home this morning but laziness got the better of me ;)

Bloomin' 'eck, Chris! It was only 100 yards from the road! Time to drop those fags in the bin, lad.
