Here are my pictures of the QM2. I only have the kit lens, I'm still new and well that's all the excuses I can think of for now.

I was up by Baker St. and Vallejo St.

No.2 really does show how many small boats these liners have to deal with.

I like that there are people on the roof watching too, I guess it must have been a big news story with the helicopters out too.

Nice shot.

Nice Shots. That thing looks really huge. I'm curious to the size comparison with the navy LHA's (Landing Hello Assault ships) with the flight deck being approx. 850 feet long.

First time she's been here. This is her maiden world cruise. It's the largest, longest, tallest & widest passenger ship in history.

Gross Tonnage 150,000 tons (approx.)
Length 1132 feet (345 metres)
Height 236 feet 2 inches (72 metres)
Passengers 2,620 (3,090 max)
Decks 19 (17 pax)

No need to make excuses. I think the 1st 2 pics could do with a little post processing, but captured well.
I'm looking forward to seeing the QM2 myself - due here in Sydney February 20. As far as I am aware , 1st ever passenger cruiser not to be able to dock at the international terminal, due to it's size will use the naval base.
