IMAGE: http://www.voegtli.net/gallery/concept/densewoodfire_800.jpg

(a slightly bigger version can be found here (external link) - 800 pixel simply are too small for this shot to work nicely. 1k pixel is a tad better with the details...)

cheers

Nice picture. Was any editing done to the original picture or is this the unedited picture.

Thanks. Well, I've cropped it slightly and increased the saturation.
It's the weathered side of a large wooden house. Those who take
more than a second to look at it, will most eventually start to see
many different things pop out... The shot is a "imagination liberator". :)
But it takes a while to look... sadly this is not what people often do.

cheers

great shot and good capture of the tonal range... I thought I was staring into a forest when I frist looked.

300D, kit lens, Nifty- Fifty, 70-200 L f4, and a rapidly growing wish list

Thanks. Yes, the image of a dense forest is something I had too.

cheers
