right this is the first time in transportation so go easy on me ;) no im really looking for some c & c on some pics i took for a friend of mine.

this was my first time shooting at iso 1600 i was well suprised how well they came out but i was even more suprised how quick this beast is as ive always owned subarus, any it was timed a few weeks back and also put on a rolling road session and its kicking out 615 bhp at the fly and 545 nm of torque. any way give me kicking if they are crap

i'm confused as to why you would use iso 1600 on these shots and not use a tripod?

i did use a tripod believe me it was very dark on both locations in fact a few times it really struggled to auto focus most were shot at F4 approx 0.5 of a second

you should use the custom white balance function, if you don't know how to, im sure there are many articles available to explain it.

I had a shot on one of yours to get rid of the yellow-ness. Needs a shot of noise reduction, just didnt get around to it....

If it's super dark and the lens is hunting for focus, have a flashlight handy;)

Good start.

i struggled with the white balance the car park ones was like a yellow light made everything awfull looking with a yellow tinge

WB can't work if the lights don't have a full RGB spectrum. Those might have been sodium vapor lights which only a have spectrum of 2 lines in the yellow.
Seen this?

youre suprised they came out well @ ISO 1600?

ISO 200-6400 20D Tests

Well, then you could have used ISO 100 & manual focused. AF needs to "see" contrast to work.
