I really liked the big boulders lying around at this point and felt there must have been a shot using them to frame the stunning view back up the glen, but struggled to find it. C&C welcome on all the images, but particularly if you have any suggestions regarding possibilities for the last one (I'll even accept "bin-it", you know who I mean...:o :D ) as I'll be heading back at some point soon.

It's not how much kit you have, it's what you do with it that counts.......but at least L glass LOOKS good !!:D

#2 for me too. Although they are all beautiful, that one really stands out.

As to Dimitri's tree, once he pointed it out, it is surprisingly easy to spot from the roadside...

Great shots, but where did you get the blue sky from? I guess the days either side of the official POTN day meet are always the best days, might be an idea for the next meet, arrange a day and then change it by one day at the last minute and see if we can beat the rain.

Number 2 is the winner for me. Love that reflection in the water. So clear and crisp.

Thanks folks, I'm really glad that #2 turnout and you really like it. As I don't have a CP filter for my Lee kit (yet;) ), I had a 77mm Hoya CP on and just handheld the 0.9 ND Grad....

Thanks Athena. Had to wait a while for others to get out of the shot as they kept taking shots from the end of the old pier. As it I've had to clone out someone's tripod and kit. Can anyone spot where from?

Cheers Lomond, didn't know that's what the translation was for the Buachaille's.

Thanks, your preference for #4 is really suprising. What makes you like the shoot, as I only really included it to try and find a better composition.

As Les said, I think it might have been something to do with switching from Action shots to Landscape. I couldn't get my brain to switch modes....
