It's like the birds just knew I was there taking pictures, so they posed ever so nicely... behind anything possible.   Lesson learned today - Backlit blackbirds are impossible. This was the only one even remotely sidelit. Next time I'm bringing watershoes so I can walk around some more. Either that or I've got to find larger pieces of dry land... You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

Or maybe its' just me, and maybe thats what seperates the good from the great Capturing life a fraction of a second at a time
