Ok so for someone looking to get a Mark II N, wait till after what date? I understand its not good to wait on the next great camera but, from reading this thread we should know something soon huh? Do you guys think it would be worth the wait to wait like 1 month?

I'm told that The David Leung advert in this week's AP (UK) confirms that Canon are announcing new products at a dealer launch on 23 February, and suggests that Focus will see full details made public.

Did you read this somewhere...

From David Leung (one of the UK's top 3 or 4 Canon dealers) in yesterday's 'Amateur Phiotographer' magazine.

"Public" only if you're riding with Leung's ; they will be briefing passengers during their coach trip up to Focus (Sunday 25th). Remember that there's no Canon presence (again!) at Focus to give out anything official.

Bit sad but I had a dream last night that I found a picture on devreview regarding a EOS31D with a picture and spec. It was 11.5mp.
Then the link had gone and I had to screen cap to show you all.

I think we can ignore this though :P

With the increase in demand for DSLR capable cameras that have less buttons to control, I'm wondering if Canon will try that market. Using the same interchangeable lenses for EF mounts, but with just P&S settings.
