Drops of cough syrup on a CD. The colors are not photoshopped. It is the result of light reflecting on the cd. Shot with Canon 100 macro. It is a little noisy. Shot at ISO 800. C&C welcome and appreciated

This is such a great picture. What absolute creativity! Was this planned, or were you sick one day and spilled some cough syrup on the disc and said, "Hey, this would make a great shot!!" :)

I planned this. I have seen others do it with water drops and so I have been experimenting with different liquids to see what effect I could get. The weather is preventing me from getting out so I have been looking for something to shoot. Oh Spring, Please hurry. :lol: I have posted the others previousy but you can see them here if you are interested.

Not honey. None on hand but I did try some other things they just didnt come out right. You see, there is a fine balance between too much refraction on the cd sometimes. It is hit or miss.
