All I can say is WOW WOW WOW!! I have been doing alot of reviewing here and around the net on the 70-200 IS and non IS f/4. Realizing there is a big difference in the price but after reading alot of reviews decided to purchase the IS version and must say wow blown away. The quality of this lens all around solid build, fast accurate focus and the IS just awesome. This lens is very sharp as well not alot of sharpening in p/p needed, took some hand held shots indoors with no flash and iso of 1600 at f/4 at 200mm and shutter speed of 1/15 and its a keeper granted a little noisey. I was just wanting to test the IS out at slower shutter speeds . Just wanted to share!!!

Depending on your technique and subject... for those same ISO 1600 @ 200mm F4 1/15, try going down to ISO 400 200mm F4 1/4 second, and you might be surprised to see the IS handle your vibrations quite fine, but instead you cut down on the noise and retain a lot more detail.

Congratulations. And FWIW, that's the longest sentence I've ever read.
