I noticed on Canon's site today there is an update to zoombrowser. Dated Feb. 2007

Anyone know what this addresses?

I don't use it much, personally, other than occasional RAW conversion when I want it to match camera jpeg output. But I'm still curious. Also wondering if they're starting to release updates in preparation of 40D announcement? Does this mean an update of DPP is on the way?

just realized I can read release notes without actually downloading software...

Apparently support for windows vista, plus something called IXY digital wireless for xp and IE7? Anyone hear of that? (the IXY thing... I know what vista is!)

No idea. But I do like Zoombrowser a lot. I like how I can scroll through each pic seeing the shooting info, including the focus point. I'd like to learn PS CS2 but wading through all the stuff is just daunting. As with several recent software updates, such as the latest 30D firmware, I won't bother as it doesn't address any immediate need. It is good to see that Canon is on top of updating DPP and its extensions though. :)
