I have found the RS-80N3 cable release ($50) was a good buy especailly taking moon pics and astrophotography and other pics requiring no photog induced jiggle/wobble/whatever. Why the heck does Canon call it a remote switch? It confused me at first as I'm used to calling it a cable release.
