Nice image all about color and quality of light. BUT.... since you are using PS, you oughta use the File > Save For Web and reduce the size of this file from 792 to about 92 KB. At this size, there's no reason for so much information at 72 dpi. Such a long loading file will discourage a lot of folks from opening your stuff in the future. You're good, don't limit yourself, eh?

Thanks for looking. Noodling is trying everything I can in PS and seeing what looks interesting. This was made with the glowing edges filter and some level/saturation adjustments. here's the original image:

the real halo shot is more effective than the photoshopped version. while you have an initial shape that is good, there is not enough variance in it to pull the viewer into the wtf piece.

the real version has enough of a wtf effect to hold the viewer and make them say "wtf is making that ring there? why is it so big? that's a pretty damn big refraction! are aliens going to teleport through that palm tree??? wtf!
