Took these the other day. It was my first engagement session and I think it went great. The couple were very relaxed in front of the camera. Had a great time and laughed alot.

Please give any comments and C&C. Also I'm having a mind block about what I should choose to do B&W or other PP on the pictures. Somehow, I think it can be PP to add a bit more uniqueness in them or maybe it is just me.

Nice. I really like #3, 6, 7 a lot! I think I'd like the last better if the cars weren't there but that would be hard to get rid of. It almost seems like he should pushing her?

I think 5 would be a cool black and white!

You may want to try boosting saturation esp. on the first couple of shots. It could use a little more blue in the sky :)

Thanks for the comments.

It was a typical cloudy Vancouver day unfortunately. :( So no blue at all!

Funny you mention the cars, as mine is blue one parked there and it happens to be the most distracting one in the picture. I'll park further away next time. :D

Yeah I agree with the pushing, but he wasn't enjoying the swing as much as her so she gave him a push to get him going. I didn't plan on this shot, so whatever goes, I love the spontaneous factor.

These are great! I really love #4 & 5! I played with the saturation on a couple :) Hope you like.

Nice captures. Not sure about the saturation issue, but with the weather being so cloudy, they could use a little warming in the white balance department. Easy enough to do in RAW though.

Good work!

It wasn't too tricky to get rid of the cars. I even went a step further and got rid of the other swings and the mounting brackets ;)

Nice job! They look like they had a great time, which is a credit to your ability to make your subjects comfortable with the shoot.

Great job, I really like #5. I might try to lighten the man's teeth up just a little. Overall I have to agree with mizuno, they look very comfortable and happy. Keep it up!

Hey at least it wasn't raining! I know what you mean about these cloudy days, sticks around forever.

Nice work however, I really like #6.

Thanks for all the comments guys and girls. :) I'll probably warm it a bit up and add some more saturation into them.

Just curious what setting people use for saturation in their raw setting, since I've found that most of the images are lacking saturation when they come out of the camera. I usually give it a boost to give it more pop.

I generally don't touch saturation in ACR. Getting the white balance right normally does the trick for me ;-)a That said, the 24-70 and 70-200 deliver excellent saturation ... depending on which lens you're using, you might need to bump it up a bit.
