heyya POTN,

recently found out the wonders of reversing lenses :P heres one taken with the 50mm reversed with the aperture at f/4.

I dig it. I think a high-contrast b&w conversion might be interesting as well.

presumably you focus by moving your camera closer or farther away till the image in the viewfinder is sharp. the distance from the subject is very short, so you don't need to move much to change the focus...

since the lens was a 50mm 1.8 there was crazy DOF, this shot took a while for me to get what i wanted in focus and what i want blurred. took me longer since i was physically holding the lens vs having it on a mount.
