can my 430EX be triggered by my strobelights. interfit 150 lights to be exact.
was thinking of using my speedlight as a BG light. i notice it has an off/slave switch at the back?

b1gdaddy Senior Member 348 posts Likes: 4 Joined Jul 2005 Location: Liverpool, UK More info | It can be done using a canon TTL hotshoe 3 adapter & an optical slave trigger with pc connection. Hardly worth spending out on these though. But if you already have them it's easily done.

I have the 430. The other night, I borrowed a friends 550EX and put it on my camera, set the 430 on 'slave' and fired my camera off with the 550. There was a half second delay before my 430 fired.
