Im not sure if this is a quick fixer..But i just got a new canon pro 9000 printer..and after i take my files and use my photo shop program...when i print them..they look very much darker..than what my finished photo looks like on my dell monitor? It really sucks..cause after i take the files off the camera into the computer..I slightly fix the pictures i like. Then print them out...only to have them not as nice as when i fixed them on the computer. My old Hp printer didnt have this problem..is there something im missing?

Possible printer/paper profiles are still set for HP or not set correctly? Do you have a print preview and if so how did that look.

Did you turn off color management on the printer or Photoshop. When there is 2 color management running the resulting pics come out dark.

i have no clue what im doin..lol..but after wastin alot of canon pro paper and ink. I had a little success. I took a picture..no photo shoppin...went to print it..in the prefrences for the printer settings..i set the color correction to : none- came out with yellow tones. Set to matching driver , linear : better , lighter good tones. Set to matching driver, standard: it was vibrant colors..but a little to shaded. So i guess after i experiment for a few...it will get better...
I did these pics on letter size..as i didnt want to waste any 13x19 paper till i get better..any input will help..thanks!!
