I have the large Botero background (6'x4' sounds about right), very nice, but good luck getting it collapsed back up. I still struggle every now and then! Its like collapsing a standard reflector but requires another twist during the process.

If you use the car windshield sunshade that has the same shape as collapsible backgrounds, it's not hard. I have a 5' x 7' and just hold two corners, and twist them in opposite directions. It also makes it easier if you hold and twist the same two corners every time.

My Botero...8'x16' colapsible backgrounds...anybody else using these too and do you have any tips or opinions you'd like to share!

I have the 8x16 green chroma key. No issues save the part that extends on the floor gets wrinkled. To bad they didn't have some sort of floor frame. As to folding it - I forget how everytime. :) I wrestle with my smaller 5-1 folding reflectors too, it's just worse on these super collapasible. Anyhow, I downloaded the instructions from http://fondosbotero.com/fold.htm (external link), printed and laminated the them and keep them in the storage bag. It can be done with one person. That first bow in the middle is the trick. BTW - wish I bought blue. The green is just ugly. I know the arguments on the color choice, but it's still ugly. ;)

I'm going to save the instruction video on my Epson P-2000 viewer/cardreader/hardrive so I can watch it again if I have too.

Jeff, has the video feature of the Epson P2000 gotten any better with firmware? Last time I tried to copy over video it was a pain in the butt. I've been contemplating adding a larger HDD to mine, but since I only use it as a photo store this is really not necessary.

I usually need to re-encode the video to make things play.

What do you use to encode? I think I used Quicktime 6 Pro when I tried. Since then I've been using the Sandisk Sansa MP3 Player with Video Encoder. The screen is miniature but its amazing how easy it is to watch. Even easier to encode video.

Sorry it's been awhile since I've done this. My camera video works right out of the camera. I also have 50 programs for encoding video, some of them old proffesional ones from when I was into video and taking a break from photography. If I can get the time, I'll check.

Thats OK, I'll try it again with the newer firmware and Quicktime 7 and see what I get. I rarely have the need to watch things on the road so even if it did work, would I use it long term? Probably not.
