Not too hard to find this time of year, but I thought some of you might like them. Feel free to share yours too! C&C welcome.

5. A very cold roll-by at Scenic Washington. You could hear this loaded stack train slip over and over as the engines struggled to get the train moving on the mountain grade.

6. Limited Visability as BNSF proves to have the only mountain pass in the state open. Taken at Winton, Washinton.

7. An empty grain train waits on the siding at Scenic for the 8 mile long Cascade Tunnel to be blown clean.

8. BNSF breaks out the Jordan Spreader to plow the big snows we've had this year. Taken at "The Slot."

9. A frosty morning at Winton Washington.

Hey Ross...nice to see your trains over here...I have your rail galleries tied in on the North American Railroads topic over on PBase. Love that shot of the Jordan at work.

These are all EXCELLENT image's! Hard to pick a favorite because I enjoyed viewing each and every one of them. The fact that You got out in that sort of weather shows you are serious about your train shots. Kudos! :D

I actually said 'wow' out loud and I'm the only one home right now. Very dramatic. Those pine trees in the first are beautiful. I'm especially digging 1,2,3, and 8

Looks pretty cold. How long do you wait around for these trains? Do you know the schedules or is it just luck?

I'm not much of a train buff, but these shots are excellent, my faves being #6 & #8.
