Thanks for the link...I really enjoyed it. Yesterday I got to play with a 5D and the 500MM f/4 IS for an hour or so. My co-worker has this rig and brought it to work so I could give it a try. In a word...AWESOME! I was able to take hand held shots clear across the Roanoke Valley (Roanoke, VA) with amazing sharpness and detail :) The downside...that combo = my whole investment in Canon gear ;) Maybe some day...

I'll thrd that statement.... It wouldn't be so bad if the narator didn't have a computer chip up his ass... serious;y, some of MS's speach characters sound more real. fascinating process though.
