Night club shooters... what are you 2nd curtain settings?

I always thought that shutter drag was a technique where you froze the subject with flash but moved or dragged the camera in order to get some line effects from the ambient light.

Thanks for the reply. I will be getting a 30D 2morrow and have just downloaded the manual (which I am sure will be one of my best friends).
Now i need to download the flash manual to study it also.

Seriously, it's a fairly long document that you may want to print out and keep for reference. It explains both conceptual and technical information about flash that's important to understand.
