Which is best?

I was messing with this gate at work, just wondering what you guys think and preference. Thanks

Sorry Tom but I just don't find these too interesting. Perhaps #3 because of the odd-sized crop.

No need for apologies, thanks for the honest feedback. I've been trying to Get better at abstract composition, but I just can't seem to get the hang of it. Can you think of anything that would have made these better?

#3 in colour?

Too central for me, more gate less ground or more ground less gate, not sure. I think I prefer the BW ones. It's good to play at this kind of stuff though, well done, helps with composition.

Maybe if the gate didn't cut straight in through the middle it would be more intriguing.

exactly what i was just about to write.... it may be just me, but i find center pictures really boring... i probably would have shot it from the top looking down to the ground where the bars meet the fence, so you grab the 90 degree angle, but focusing on the inside not the outside of the fence ..... if you can picture at all what i mean
