I got this great crested grebe last weekend, before the weather turned into snow and gloom. Hope you enjoy. I had no choice in position as I was sat in a hide at my local nature reserve.

That's really nice. Catchlight in the eye and the reflected eye.

Very crisp. Very nice shot.

One thing I found interesting in the picture is the shape the bill appears to be in the reflection. I can't make my mind up whether it is that shape, or whether a 'wavelet' has distorted it.

Nice shot, I have never seen this one either, looks like his head was just pasted onto his body. One thing I love about this site you never know what your going to see next.
