Here's a really strange looking elevator at the Seattle public library. Apparently they are really skinny because they originally were not meant to be used by the public. There were only 4 elevators and a narrow staircase to the top, so they had to open up these staff only ones.

my opinion, ceiling a tad too dark in the 1st one...... but the 3rd i likes :)
