Haven't had a chance to use it on location yet - but first impressions are great!!! Well built/balanced/at about 15lbs. Power outlets for two ac strobes. Quick recycle times w/my Photogrnic Powerlights. Full use of modeling lights. So far, so good. keep in focus...

Was going to go with the Vagabond but the shipping was going to kill me to American Samoa (couple hundred dollars). This unit only cost $45 to ship UPS and I'm tracking it right now (just arrived in New Zealand) via UPS. Will let everyone know how it works out. Canon EOS 20D

We use it to power our mid-size Photogenic Powerlights (PL 750's). Have adapted a roller cart w/the Tronix Explorer Inverter at bottom and the Powerlights in the comaprtmernt above, with a removable 9 ft. light stand that quickly goes on a 'stud' at the back of the cart. Can wheel in, set-up, and meter lights in about 3 minutes. Wonderful for our commercial work - on site family portraits - Altar returns - but most especially, for our wedding receptions (we work almost always w/Bands and as you all know, when the 'Band is in the house', there aren't any ac power outlets left for anyone else). It has encanced our location lighting greatly. keep in focus...
