Hi all

I'm struggling which lens to buy for ultra wide angle with my Mark II N. Any recommendations? I used the 10-22mm on my 30D before and it was awesome, but having switched to Mark II N, I'm wondering which lens I should use to have similar degrees of angel and shaprness.

Thanks,
Alan

Sigma 12-24 is your only real option unless you want a 15mm fisheye and correct the distortion digitally. Unfortunately, the Sigm a12-24 isn't as sharp as the Canon 10-22.

The Sigma 15-30 is not as wide as the 12-24, but is sharper, cheaper, and still pretty wide. Although not "Ultra Wide", the canon 14L,16-35L, and 17-40L are still very good options.

Thanks, but I actuall owed the 12-24 before when I was using the 30D, and yes I sold it for the 10-22 as it really wasn't sharp enough, there is a big difference between the two lens.
