Just finished testing my camera and it appears to be working great, Canon replaced "pcbassy.A2"...the said the part was inoperative...Well I`m happy now...to anyone having these problems send it back to Canon...and don`t forget to write down all your settings . When you get it back you have to put in all your settings again

I had mine 8 weeks and after my first wedding I noticed banding at ISO 800....and I did tests for 4 weeks and didn`t want to think my baby had a problem...then I caled Canon and was told by the tech I shouldn`t be having these problems and sent it in...Today I got a E-mail saying it is being shipped back to me,I should get it tommorow I`m hoping this will solve the problem...I can`t wait to see what they did to it to correct the problem

Don't mean to reiterate the same old threads but if you get banding, send it back and get it checked. They replaced my A2 ( and sensor) and I can't believe the difference it made. I'm now happy to shoot at 3200 whereas before I was wary to shoot at 400. The 2N has always been a pleasure to use but now...:D

One day and 311 shots later, I can testify this camera is everything I expected to be, and then some.

Went out on a walk yesterday with the EOS-1D Mk2N mated to either the 24-105mm f/4 IS or the 70-200mm f/4 IS, around my neck all the time. The combo felt perfectly weighted and balanced: it's mass with a purpose. Hand-held shots of up to 0.5 seconds came out shake-free, and its ergonomics and handling are nothing short of stellar.

Did I mention the image quality yet? Best I have seen out of an 8 MP sensor. Clean, very sharp and detailed. I could not be happier. A big thanks to all of you for your feedback and support

If you aren't shooting professionally, don't even bother with the battery. You can easily get 1500+ shots from a fully charged battery.

But what if I take more than 1500 shots a day? Away from home? Anything is possible!

Naah, I intend to get another spare, that should do me :)
