Those do look cool. How do they install into the ceiling?

Stay away from the IKEA "KVARTAL (external link)" system. It will work fine for straight runs, but since the tracks don't line up perfectly, sometimes its hard to transition from one rail section to the next around the little corner piece.

Also, since the carriers are friction based they are more difficult to slide compaired to the Medical/Photo curtain tracks that have bearings or wheels on the carriers...

Something else, make sure to get a grommet punch kit. If you use or get small spring clips, you may have to put a screw or dowell inside the muslin for the clip to "bite" into. Grommets and S hooks would have been much more secure for me. Ohhh well, live and learn.

The Delta Muslin Mover is fine. I'm actually about to put up some free track I got from a hospital, never used, with hooks and all. You know...the kind the curtains around the beds are on. Already got it up with artwork hanging (which works fantastic, by the way), and a second set will be up soon. My muslins already have grommets and rod pockets, so that's not a problem.

Just installed this system in my studio that is opening in march. I am very happy with it installs easily to ceiling or wall the cheaper standard system is what I got and it works excellent.

Hello again,
Newfly5, the track works great. It uses roller slides. I orfered 16ft. and 32 rollers were included. Cost was $100.86 including shipping. They cut it into 4ft. sections for shipping and forgot to send the splices. After a phone call the splices arrived in two days. This is ment for hospital curtains and is heavy duty. I plan to hang 3 backdrops on it and slide to the one I need.

Regards,

Mitch
