Speedlite vs Sigma

Hey

Just curious, not many seem to have the Sigma flashes; any reason for this?

Is there much difference in price and specs?
Recommendations!
I havent been able to find any info in the Sigma version's so any *speedy* help is appreciated!

There are many happy Sigma owners on this forum, and a few unhappy ones.
The same could be said for Canon Speedlite owners, though the Speedlite owners are definitely in the majority.

Sigma offers good value. Whether it is right for you depends somewhat on how you intend to use it. There are situations where the $150 Sigma EF-500 DG ST would be superior to the $240 Canon 430EX Speedlite. There are other situations where the Canon would have the advantage.

Compare specs and features carefully, and ask specific questions if there is something you don't understand. Go to this website, scroll down to flash units and select up to three models (The Sigma EF-500 DG Super is one of the choices), and the site will create a table for you to compare features and specs.
