A few 350Z photos from this past weekend. I know that I shot these at the wrong time of day - but that is what they wanted to do. I think they came out nicely though. C&C alway appreciated!

Nice Jaime:D
I like the second one the best, the contrast between the sky and the car is great!

Thanks for all the compliments folks. I am suprised that everyone like 2 so well. All my friends hate it when I take the Portrait shot rather than the landscape.

Sweet series. You couldn't have chosen a better environment. I find it amazing that by leaving more space around the car, the vehicle is actually emphasized more. You're shots are a great example of this. Nice.

Thanks Alan. I have some more from the shoot of different cars but I have not got them PP yet. I'll try to share some of them tomorrow.

I like #2 also, but; sorry for a but, the reflection in the door panel is bothering me, any chance of changing the angle so you get a solid reflection? Nice looking car.

I agree with you Becky. The shooting conditions were not the best. I shot these about 1:30 in the afternoon. It would have been much better had I shot at sunrise or sunset (but I would have lost the sky or at the least had a different one). I probably could have shot them with out the reflections had the rest of the cars and people been on the flat level above where I was shooting. I shot these for some friends at their request; as a result I did not "demand" that they move out of the way etc. One thing I could have done a little differently at this time of day would have been to use a longer lens which would have reduce the reflections. I could have also used a CP filter which may have reduced or eliminated the reflections that are there but I do not have one for my 17-40. I really don't like using them anyway because more often than not they screw up the tint on the windows as well as "some" headlights. If I were doing this as a paid shot I would have made those changes, however. Thanks for you comments - they definetly make me think about what I should watch for and do differently for a paid shoot.

Nice shots, Jamie. You do a lot better with cars than I could ever hope to.

One minor point, you may want to update your framing script to put this year in instead of last... :o:lol:

I'm liking 1& 2 best. In #1, it looks like you could have moved the car back a few feet & hidden the crap behind it as well as not had the building on the right in such a prominent place. Easy PS job, though.

I shot these for some friends at their request; as a result I did not "demand" that they move out of the way etc.

Well, demand! It's why they asked you to take the shots? Anyone can just shoot what's there! ;)
