10D vs. 20D vs. 30D

Yes, IMHO the 10D though a fine camera is essentially a 20D in slow motion.. the 20D improved all speeds and timings considerably,. it was a huge step towards closing the gap between the super fast Pro model 1D and the "Consumer" models which were soooo much slower. Comparatively the 20D (and 30D of course) are hot rods.

that said, the 10D is a dandy camera with nice images.

But I LOVED the sound of my 20D the 30D is *slightly* less

I guess it's a matter of discipiline...but I always pick up my 10d with finger on shutter so by the time it's to my eye it's ready to shoot...

That reminds me of some of my girlfriends.

The 10D has the best body but she can't keep up with me, the 20D's body is not so great but has some very nice qualities about her, and the 30D is just right but I never called her back.

I'll just wait for something better to come along.
