Took some photos of the London Switched on event last night.

This is one of my favourites. The weather was lousy though so I didn't get many. This was a keeper though.

Wow!!... One of the best I have seen in a very long time!.. Would love to have that as a wallpaper on my widescreen Laptop.

Yes, a really good image of the ship and London scene all lit. The lighting along the heavy guns barrels make them look like they have just been fired with the cordite smoke coming out of them :)

But Nick what is it that "infamous" about our outstanding London landmark Tower Bridge?

I've been round HMS Belfast a couple of times - great memories of her and London (lived there for 2 1/2 years). Excellent photo, would make a great poster.

The bridge is infamous because the Americans bought the old London Bridge. However, they actually thought they was buying Tower Bridge. London bridge was dismantled and taken to the US, where they got a shock when they realised they had bought the wrong one.
