I've started to get the hang of this Peleng business. Here are some more. Click on the image for the full size:

1. Curved horizon line (and a little flare, I know)

2. Making snow angels (I kept the circular vignetting on this one. I thought it gave it a cool effect)

3. A (slightly corrected) shot of the sky

4. Crazy distortion of a straight tree trunk

5. Hey, it makes a pretty nice portrait lens, too (pretty sharp for a $200 lens)

Thanks. I am also impressed by the color reproduction of this lens. The sharpness is pretty amazing too. Quite a good lens for $200

Great pics, where did you get this lens? I'm interested in buying one.

I bought mine from the FredMiranda (external link) boards, but they sell on ebay a lot, and you can sometimes find them on the POTN for-sale section.

thank you! did you have to buy a special mount for it to fit on your canon.

Mine came with the EOS adapter, but if it doesn't come with one then you'll have to buy one.

Assuming you don't get one with your lens, you need to have the M42-to-EOS adapter. They're about $10 on ebay.
