looking to get some studio lighting ....

hello i was thinking about getting some studio lighting nothing real high price but nothing real cheap eather something in the middle, just somthing that i can learn on and mess around with as i am learning more about portrait shooting. just enought to get me started but i dont know anything about studio lighting brand names and such looking to get some info/input

Great "bang for the buck". Far less than the real pricey jobs, but not junk. About as "middle of the line" as it gets.

I would also recommend the Alien Bees strobes as they are great value and lots of bang for the buck.

You could start with either one light and a reflector (which you can make for cheap) or 2 lights and learn huge amounts while you figure out what you want to do and what you might ultimately need to do it.
