Its only a cold shoe mount, but if your clever enough you could turn it into a hot shoe.

Well Done guys, thanks for that!

I will have a little play! Any chance anyone could see if the extra strain of a flash gun on top of the camera and its new unit would cause the extension cord box to strain and possibly snap?
