Feb 15, 2007 05:29 | #3 the 50mm f/1.8 is probably my favorite lens to take photos of my kids with.. the sharpness of the pictures it produces is incredible. But it's not the easiest lens to use to take photos of kids either... they want to touch the camera, and the 50mm isn't wide enough sometimes. I usually end up taking photos with the kit lens ( Canon 30D | Canon EF 28-135 IS USM II
