For some unGodly reason, I decided to take a stroll along the top of the local dam. The wind was blowing around 30mph with a temp of 16 degrees. You get the idea. I encountered this guy hopping just out of range for about 1/3 of the way across the dam. He finally gave up and let me take a nice series.

he was probably hopping around and trying to keep moving so we wouldn't freeze solid!!!

Rebel XTi, 75-300 4-5.6 III, Kenko 2x TC. It has good reach, the TC (an older Kenko) gives me very shallow DOF. Dreams of long prime lenses....
