I do mostly portrait photgraphy and know all the ins and outs of photography but, I need some words of wisdom... tomorrow I'm shooting some custom furniture in a small warehouse with low available light. It's mostly bathroom vanity stuff medium in size with stone tops. I believe I will try to shoot with a seemless white backdrop per customers request. My question is, what angles, and amount of lights would you suggest I need? I was thinking a giant softbox about at at 45 degree angle to the subject with a large reflector spilling light back onto the other side as well as a light or two for the background.. The guy is not very picky he just wants it lit nice and even without shadows. I'm assuming the body of the cabinet is wood.
Any suggestions would be very helpful guys. I really don't have tons of time to do ellaborate and creative lighting so the simple aproach will be fine.

Thanks

I'll give this a bump since I'm hoping someone with experience with such subjects will chime in.

It's disheartening to a new member when his thread doesn't get any responses. ;)

I always photograph furniture with at least three lights. Usually you will shoot a piece of case goods at an angle so that you see one side, the front, and the top. Each visible side needs its own light source. I usually use a fairly hard, small source for the side, a larger soft sources for the front and top. If you have a white ceiling you can bounce a light which will illuminate both the top of the piece and the background. If not, then a light from above and slightly behind the piece on the opposite side of the side-light is needed.
