Doors
Found all of these in the same abandoned factory is South Dallas today. There were actually a bunch more that I didn't shoot, so I think I may go back shoot all of them and turn them into a series.

I love old doors Todd...well.... and old rusty locks and such...When I go to China I'm always shooting doors and hinges and such....among other things:)

Thank you kat! Yeah, I like em too... anything rusted, crusted and busted... heheh

This abandoned factory has like 4 floors, of which each floor must have 8-10 of these doors... so I definitely think I'm going to go back and explore the other floors (I ran out of time before it got dark tonight, and this place is in a very bad section of town)

that is awesome push tight in with a wide angle, that is what most photojournalist are doing.. probably a trend in the past 3 years or so.. good stuff

@ allen.. the medical field is crazy arent they? 12-16 hour shifts... i know because both of my brothers are living it !

2 - 15inch softboxes
1 bare speedlight behind subject
22 inch beauty dish with AB1600

all triggered by cactus systems

all speed lights were @ 1/2 power
alien bee was about 1/3 power

WOW now thats some Drama Pham.

Yeah most are very stretched. There are not enough nurses. In fact at some hospitals they get huge bonuses for working the major holidays. Some Drs can work 100 + hours a week.

I will guess he let the ambient go about two stops lower than his main/key and thats probably a light with a soft modifier of to camera right/subject slightly left and a kicker coming in from camera left behind subject. How'd I do Pham?
