just picked up a 5D and 35L...so far so good...tested it more this weekend...still getting use to the focal length and FF

Actually, the photo with the girl we all like so much, that photo looks very dry to me. Maybe it's a texture, saturation, clarity thing. I'm always lookin' to add another dimension to my photography. I like when they look surreal.

well, without giving away too much of my secret, it has a lot to do with lowered contrast and uping exposure (in lightroom, offset and gamma in PS)

Domino, you can probably achieve similar results by adding a colored layer in PhotoShop and playing around with the opacity along with the blend type...

As mxracer says, you can see there's a bit more to it, but I've found it works reasonably well.
