Unedited...I've been very happy with this lens, even though I was told it would be a waste of money on a crop and to get the siggy 30....but whatever:p

There´s a difference between what i reccomend and what i would by myself because i let myself do crazier things then i advice others too.

I'm finding this a little softer than I'd like wide open and I'm not sure if it's hitting focus. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it hits perfect at +15 MA. I know shooting at 1.4 is a little challenge but I think I'd be used to it by now. Here's a few from my cousins b-day today. (I still love the colors)

How photoshopped is this photo ?
Every technical aspect of it is just amazing contrast colours etc.

Why do people always assume that photos that were lit well = photoshop?

Looks like bounce flash reflected from the ceiling/wall camera left and directly behind the photographer to me. Nothing too special; just very effective.

Well with some lenses the contrast could still be down as this looks wide open(ish).

Thanks and sorry I didn't see this earlier. Very little post work some dodge and burn but there was a flash on camera bounced off the ceiling above which I'm guessing is about 10 feet high and white. IIRC I might have bumped the contrast up a little in LR and applied a slight USM. Here's the exif
