haha, I know! I was going for a calmer, more subdued mood. I wanted to get that classic "birthday cake lit by a single candle" kind of feel.

I really underestimated how much light those little candles put out. When I checked the image preview, I remember saying to myself "wow, that didn't work like I wanted it to."

I do like the capture, though. It isn't what I wanted, but I like it.

I finally found the lens @ a small camera shop in the outskirts of Bangkok. They have me a good deal with warranty and everything.

Here are my first shots with the 35! Kinda tricky to get used to after exclusively shooting 85mm the last 7 months.

yes. The build quality, the AF accuracy, the colour rendering and alot of other stuff. The rendering between the f2 and the L is really different
